And with that, I bid you…

…Adieu.

Heh!

I’m leaving tomorrow to fly to Minnesota and the start of an almost two month bicycle ride down the length of the Mississippi River [link].  Based on last year’s experience, it is unlikely that I will be checking in all that much, although if I see something interesting I will be sure to let you know.

I’ve had a lot of fun being most of the “& Company” here at the Artisan Craft Blog.  But, no matter how things turned out today I had pretty much decided that this would be my last hurrah as a commenting member of the good guys.  I have made many great friends over the last couple of years but it’s pretty clear to me that it’s time to move on, at least with regard to being an ongoing participant in what has become a multi-year flame war with a couple of unspeakable people.  I’m sure that the friendships will stand on their own, and be assured I’ll be in touch from time to time.  You all, in any event, know where to find me.

Dave, you are an uncommonly decent man and a voice for what is good, right and true.  It has been a pleasure to have posting privileges here.  You can consider me an emeritus of a really fine blog.

And my prediction- you know what it is- still stands.

We’ll see.

All the best.

David

If you need any help from the time you enter Illinois until you hit the St Louis area let me know. I have lots of family around there who would be glad to lend a hand. Safe travels and have fun.
