Go Fund My Efforts to Evade Service

Medical Update: Mr. Schmalfeldt is not suffering from cancer.

“I just ducked a bullet. I was tested for esophageal cancer today and came back with a clean bill of health. Although I first conceived of this adventure while waiting to see if I had a deadly illness (and happy to learn that I do not) I would still like to take this trip with the hope of showing everyone that even in this day and age, we are all Americans with more to unite us than to divide us.”

I am glad to hear that we are all Americans. Some of us are Americans who produce and serve…while others attach themselves barnacle-like to the hull of America, hoping to catch a free ride.

Bill Schmalfeldt has a gofundme page to get others to pay for a road trip:

Whatever the medical testing over the next two weeks comes up with, I’ve decided I would like to create a video tribute to the country I love, the nation I served in the military and as a civil servant.

Apparently he now thinks he is very sick. After decades of claiming an incurable disease, he might be really, no kidding sick now. He might be, but since he has amazing powers of healing heretofore unknown to human kind, I think he might be okay.

Honestly, if a disease is inside his body, I feel badly for the disease.

I would like to raise $15,000 to fund a 35-day trip to videotape all of the state capitols in the lower 48. Your donation would be used to get video of these historic buildings, cities, and — if I can wrangle it — interviews with state officials.

If they Google him, they won’t be interviewed.

Meanwhile, John Hoge has some plans to get Bill Schmalfeldt some important paperwork:

See more here at Hogewash!.

In general, I try to give Schmalfeldt some level of respect — by simply taking him seriously as a news subject. He has suggested some silly things in his day — that Hoge is KILLING HIM!!11!!,  or that HOGE had something to do with Shmalfeldt’s wife’s death, or that Paul Krendler is…well, lots of people.

But to suggest that complete strangers but gas, hotels and fast food so that Bill Schmalfeldt can create a diary of the country he loves…

While evading service in a civil suit…

Keeping his address secret even from the court…

Update. From 2013:

The bottom left corner is most interesting.

This is not the itinerary of someone who was immobile in 2013 from a disease which never gets better. Or someone who will ask a court to allow him to appear by Skype because travel is too difficult.

If You Don’t Want to Debate Something…

…don’t bring it up.

By Jacob Engels in the blog Central Florida Post, h/t World Net Daily

Not even a year after Radical Islamic terrorist Omar Mateen killed 49 people at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, Rollins College officials are punishing a Christian Conservative student who challenged a liberal Muslim professor and radicalized Muslim student during a conversation on the application of Sharia Law.

Marshall Polston confirmed to the Central Florida Post that Professor Areeje Zufari, who teaches a “Muslim Humanities” course at Rollins, has made outlandish claims against him and even filed a false police report.

Early on in the class, Polston said he realized the professor was harboring Anti-Christian beliefs, demonstrated by the professor’s assertion that the crucifixion of Jesus was a hoax and that his disciples did not believe he was God.

Polston got a bad grade on an essay, no explanation and eventually the situation spiraled:

This is when we step into the Twilight Zone. The teacher then reported Polston to the “Dean of Safety” at Rollins and cancelled class because she claimed he was making her feel “unsafe.”

It sounds like a wide ranging discussion got people upset — but it was the Christian student who was punished. A Muslim student who suggested that gay people and others who defy Shariah sexual laws should have their manhood removed. Yeah.

The professor complained that the student came to the class on a particular date and harassed him, but the student says he has video and a receipt showing him elsewhere at the time.

Of course there are many sides to issues like this, but the basic point is freedom to express oneself used to be a great part of college  our country.  Feelings might be hurt, but at least we listened to each other, and nobody got suspended or arrested for saying stuff. Short of threats or incitements to violence, we should all have that freedom.

Yes, Please. I’ll Bring the Popcorn!

Brett and Tatyana  Kimberlin are being sued by blogger John Hoge. Discovery isn’t going well, since apparently they don’t have or can’t find any evidence. Simple questions are going unanswered.  On the other hand…

Tetyana Kimberlin’s answers to the interrogatories in Hoge v. Kimberlin et al., includes this list of witnesses:

Witness list

I don’t actually recognize some of the names, but I see two judges and an Assistant State’s Attorney. These are fact-based people. Sworn not to lie.

There will be testimony by Tatyana Kimberlin’s daughters. They likely will testify about whatever Dad told them. I’m basing this on the eldest daughter’s previous testimony.

And Bill Schmalfeldt.

To the End

We’re gonna need more popcorn.

Brett, I Can Help

Brett Kimberlin apparently has mislaid some important information regarding his parole. This is from a Hogewash! post regarding the state of discovery in the Hoge v. Kimberlin case:

Somewhere in the vast Craft Blog Archives we have a copy of the information provided by the Freedom of Information Request from the U.S. Parole Commission which included this document:

Now as I said here, there is that possibility that Brett Kimberlin was not paroled. As he has said during at least one court hearing, and perhaps in other documentation…Brett Kimberlin claims not to be on parole. He claims some odd double-secret exoneration. Perhaps that would be in the redacted portion.

Of course, claiming he does not have a piece of paper saying ‘parole’ has the effect of allowing Mr. Kimberlin to pretend not to understand how parole works, just as he has pretended not to understand the intricacies of the United State’s Postal Service.

I would be happy to mail a copy to the attorney for Justice Through Music Project, Jeffrey Cohen, or Mr. Kimberlin’s co-defendant Mr. Schmalfeldt. I can’t seem to see a current address for either.  I don’t have a photocopier, but I’d be glad to hop in the Impala and drive down to the photocopy center. I just have to fluff up my Ranger shirt and find my Smokey Bear hat. Gotta be around here somewhere.

Both of those links go to Hogewash!

Free Speech bus vandalized by LGBT activists

They are not tolerant. Many are just bullies for their own side.

Is the tolerance and diversity crowd really as tolerant and diverse as they claim?

Consider this story from the Washington Free Beacon about the Free Speech bus created by the National Organization for Marriage.

A bus with social conservative slogans denouncing transgenderism was vandalized Thursday in New York City by trans activists.

[…][T]he bus never left New York. The National Organization for Marriage announced Thursday that the bus had been defaced by angry activists wielding hammers.

Oh, such hate speech! Much offended. Only hammers could fix this problem of other people having different opinions than the secular left extremists.

They even attacked the driver:

National Organization for Marriage president Brian Brown told USA Today that the driver of the bus tried to stop the vandals, but was tackled by one of the activists.

Newsbusters also reported on the mainstream media’s coverage of the attack:
