We May Never Win Another War Again

TRANSGENDER.png

Starting Monday, the U.S. Military will fund hormone therapy and counseling for retirees and children of active duty service members.  Gender reassignment surgery will only be offered to active duty personnel.

I am not saying that transgender, queer or fluidly-gender-neutral people can’t be effective soldiers.  I am saying that as long as we pay attention to this stuff, and not the two core missions of the military, we are doomed.

The core missions of the military, as described by my Uncle Ned:

  1. Kill the enemies of the United Stated of America

  2. Break stuff

  3. No.  Actually that’s it.

  1. They don’t want us to ever win another war, because that would suggest that the US is better in at least one way than at least one other country in the world, and we can’t hurt anyone’s feelings by actually winning. God forbid that the US continue to be one of the dominant powers in the world.

  2. John “Minemyown” Doe says:

Number two is actually “Break the other peoples stuff”.
