Because Anything is Hate Speech to if Social Justice Warriors Disagree With It

“You’re not allowed to share hate language…”

Actually.  You’re not allowed to make up stuff about what people mean by ‘Make America Great Again.”

A fight over safe spaces and free speech erupted recently on a college campus in Canada, when a male student showed up wearing one of Donald Trump’s classic red “Make America Great Again” hats  and was immediately attacked by a female student who called the hat “hate speech”.

The incident, captured on video, occurred at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Student Matt Linder came to school wearing the cap. Fellow student Zoe Slusar accosted Linder and told him to remove it.

“You’re not allowed to share hate language at a University,” Slusar shouted at Linder. “Make America Great Again means Make America all for white people, no immigrants, no people of different sexual orientations.

“You’ve got to take the hat off or I am going to write the president of the University,” she continues. “It’s not allowed. It’s hate language on campus.”

The entire episode reminds me that stupid is all over the place.  It also reminds me of a country song.  If you’ve never heard the song, wait for the chorus:

And then that morally superior liberal thief assaulted the guy and made off with his “hate hat,” all with the blessing of his fellow virtue signalers. Assault and theft are acceptable, even encouraged, when encountering one of the deplorables, apparently.

Well, if I’m ever in charge of hiring and see either Zoe or the hat thief’s resume, guess where it’s going?

For that matter, I wouldn’t even buy a coffee if either of them was working the counter when I went in. And I imagine that’s likely the best either of them will ever do, even with their college degrees.
