Schmalfeldt vs. Parvocampus: Better Than Godzilla vs. Mothra

I used to enjoy Saturday morning monster movies.  The Japanese Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan films were the best.  The Schmalfeldt situation blew open again a couple of days ago with the publication (really, just assembling) of Paul Krendler’s writing in a book available at Amazon.  Bill Schmalfeldt says he had nothing to do with it, except of course, he posted a tweet days before saying that he planned to publish all of Paul Krendler’s writing.

EVERYTHING

GMMG-Mothra_Appears_Behind_GodzillaNone of it makes sense, because Krendler won’t have to buy his copyright.  In theory, he could sue anonymously to stop the publication (really not publication) of the so-called “book.”

Now, a new face has emerged — or reemerged.  Perhaps reanimated.  Long before Krendler was Krendler, there was Parvocampus.  I’m pretty sure Parvo wrote the original Krendler posts, or vice versa.

Like a kaiju monster, long dormant beneath the sea, Parvocampus is starting to write again.  This will not be good for those who wanted this thing to fade away.

  1. Yeah, the whole “PK has to buy his own copyrights” thing made me wonder too. Who was he supposed to have bought them from, himself?
